The department of neurology was started in 2006, with Dr. Manoj P at the helm of affairs. He has been leading the department from the forefront since then. He has 16 years of vast clinical post DM experience and is an exemplary team leader. The department provides OPD and Inpatient services. The other faculty comprises of Dr. Prem Krishnan R with 3 years of post DM experience. They are ably supported and assisted by Dr. Preethu P T. The department caters to an average daily OP of around 70 patients. The wards and fully functional ICU helps the doctors provide top-notch care and attention to the patients. The seamless and coordinated cooperation with the neurosurgery department ensures that no stone is unturned when it comes to delivering round the clock patient care. The department has been granted one DNB seat by the national board from 2019.
