The Department of Urology has been functional in Sree Gokulam Medical College for the past twelve years. Even though it started by doing basic urologic procedures, the scope of the department has improved vastly over the years to encompass all major urologic procedures, endoscopic and laparoscopic as well as Renal transplantation. Presently it caters to around four hundred outpatients a week and about one hundred major urological procedures a month. The department also has a dedicated eight bedded ICU for providing state of the art post-operative care.
