Report on Curriculum Implementation Support Program - 2 held at Sree Gokulam Medical College on 30th and 31st October 2020.

The two-day CISP 2 program was attended by 22 participants. Dr Gino Abraham, the observer from the NMC Nodal Centre, Govt Medical College, Kottayam observed the sessions on both the days. We had 22 participants from all the professional years. Dr Beena Kumari R, Dr Kumari Sheela, Dr Shobha P, Dr Kala SN, Dr Anil Bindu, Dr Archana Pillai, Dr Manjusha Viswanathan and Dr Geetha O were the resource persons. The program was conducted through zoom platform from 5 venues, maintaining social distancing and necessary COVID precautions.

As a follow up activity of this training program, Curriculum sub-committee (CSC) and Alignment and Integration Topic (AITo ) Committee for the years II,III and IV were constituted as per the stipulations of the CISP guidelines. A few Elective topics were identified by the participants from the concerned speciality. The lists of Committee members and the identified Electives will be submitted to the Principal for necessary action.

Medical Education Unit hopes that the training program has empowered the participating faculty members to work in a team for the implementation of the new Curriculum.
