The department of infection control successfully conducted a demonstration class on the correct procedure for donning and doffing of the PPE to be used in the event of a nCoV 2019 case encounter in our hospital. The kit used for demonstration by our ICN, Ms Sharika, is a demo kit of the same set that will be provided by the DHS if and when there is a confirmed case in our hospital. The protocol for use of the PPE is based on WHO guidelines. We recommend all personnel to familiarise themselves with the use of this PPE.
